We really enjoyed our time at Bebe. Though the weather was not the best (overcast almost all week), we enjoyed playing ping-pong and corn hole. The pool was great for our grandchildren. We must say this was one of the best equipped kitchens we have come across during our various stays on the Outer Banks. The location was great and allowed for a lot of walking in the town. Though we did not interact much with the staff at Carolina Designs , when we did they were helpful and courteous.

We recently returned from our annual vacation in Duck, staying in Summer Wind in Schooner Ridge. It is a perfect beachfront house for a small family. In the past 27 years we have chosen Carolina Designs most often since they only manage the best of the best in OBX. Any issues we've had over the years due to wear n tear etc, were immediately addressed and corrected by their Operations department.

Great Expectations is an amazing home! I don't even know where to begin - it lacks nothing! It is beautifully decorated and very clean and well kept. The beach is awesome. Close proximity (walking distance) to the town of Duck where all the shopping and restaurants are. We would finish every day with cocktails and apps by the pool which has a small kiddie pool attached. We had 2 little ones with us (1 and 3) who were thrilled when they discovered the toy cabinet under the captain's watch! The movie theater, the rec room and bar, all the bedrooms, the incredibly well stocked kitchen. All of it! Every last inch of this home is perfect. A definite 5 star home. Thank you to the home owner for helping to make this the best family vacation we have had to date!
The hot tub located on the upper deck was our favorite spot in the evening for relaxing and star gazing. We had trouble with getting the jets to work at first, but Customer Service immediately sent Mr. Mike the Magic Spa Man to save the Day.......and our week, by using his expertise in getting us JETS!
We have been using Carolina Design for over a decade to book our OBX vacations. Their staff is always helpful and willing to solve any issue there might be as quickly as possible. We absolutely love staying at the House of Blues (House #498). So many memories have been made there! We love the updated salt water pool, movie areas, and quick walk to the beach! Also being down the street from all the shops and restaurants in Duck is a huge plus!
Having dealt with the major realtors in Corolla and Duck I can honestly say Carolina Designs has never disappointed us. We have rented large complicated Pine Island mini-mansions and more modest Duck cottages like Summer Wind. Summer Wind satisfies due to its private beach access to an uncrowded beach, its clean and comfortable furniture, floors and carpeting, a nicely appointed kitchen and 3.5 baths. The electronics in the house and cable service are top of the line; on a stormy night we curled up in the loft to watch a movie On Demand.
We have rented a house from Carolina Design two times, both times were great! The house was clean and well stocked! By that I mean, there were toys for the pool, beach chairs for the beach! Ping Pong and corn hole, a pool table and darts! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking anything!! If we had any problems, Carolina Design sent someone to help and correct the issues! I would definitely rent from them again! They made our vacation relaxing and very enjoyable!!! Thank you Carolina Designs!!!
