I think Sooey's is the best BBQ you can eat in the OBX. They have 3 different locations and I've been to this one and the nags Head location. Both are excellent. I've had the pulled chicken and brisket sandwiches. The sauce is delicious. The fries are always fresh and taste great. I could honestly eat at this place multiple times per trip. It is that good. I try to go to different restaurants every time I go to the OBX but Sooey's is one I have no problem repeating each year.

Fantastic BBQ for the BBQ lover. If you're just here to be a tourist and are all stuck up and used to eating steak for dinner then pass. The pork and hush puppies are the best on Duck.
Fried chicken,mashed potatoes and mac&cheese was sooooo good!
Hopefully you guys have IPA's next time
