Shops along the Duck sound boardwalk. To many to name, but you should be able to find pretty much anything you are looking for. From restaurants to snacks to grabbing a beer at an outside bar to a dog store and almost everything in between while you are walking right next to the beautiful sound (especially at sunset, hint-hint).
I came here on my birthday, which is in the off season so many of the shops were closed early. However, I love the set up of the shops. There is a beautiful view of the water (good place for selfies). It's a great place to walk around, and bring your family. I got delicious cookies from a coffeeshop/ bookstore and bought some local olive oil and flavored pasta noodles from The Olive Oil Company (which I'm excited to try.) I can't wait to go back! Definitely recommend coming here.
A lovely boardwalk overlooking the currituck sound. The shops are nice and most are a bit on the pricey side. The views are what make this place. Great photo ops at sunset. The winged horse statues are beautifully displayed.
Duck Cottage - Coffee & bookstore. What else do you need to know? You must try the coconut crunch cold brew... it is an essential part of my vacation at OBX. (Also enjoyed the personal book reviews!)
Quaint shopping area with some neat places. The Barkery was a great place to take the pups. Nice boardwalk!
