This place was fantastic. We visited a few restaurants while staying in Corolla. This was by the best! The menu isn't huge, which is good. They had three specials, which we got two of them. Both if them were great. We got cups and the New England clam chowder and the scallops for appetizers. We sat in the lower area, and it was nice and intimate. I would 100 percent recommend this place to anyone.
Always enjoy stopping by for a 'white rascal' and a light bite. The chicken salad is very good as is most everything I've tried here. Sevice is good, staff friendly.
3 years in a row, I love this place! The food is always incredible. Sometimes there's a wait, but the bar will take care of you and there's a good patio to hang on. Service is always top notch! I was there for my birthday the last 2 years and they surprised me with above and beyond kindness.
My family and I went here on vacation because we heard nothing but good things about the food. What people failed to mention was the poor and slow service. We were disappointed. We were seated without menus and it took 10 minutes for us to get them. It took another 15 minutes before we had our drinks. 30 minutes after that we got our food. We were there quite awhile. We went during an off hour so it was not busy either. One of our orders was wrong. Our party was split for the bills and the wrong cards were charged with bills. The server did not seem very friendly the whole time, was not personable, and not apologetic. We witnessed the table next to us leave and tell the server that service was too slow. We asked for some to-go cups and 2 had holes in them so the drinks leaked out. It just seemed like one thing after another. The food was so good though! It was the only part we enjoyed. Everyone loved their meal and two people had what they believed to be the best clam chowder of our trip! It's unfortunate that we won't return because of the poor service.
We hosted welcome drinks at the backside bar the night before our wedding. Ashely and her staff completely exceeded our expectations!! We were welcomed with our names on chalkboard signs that our guests could sign, a live BAND , fire pits, glow sticks, a s'mores station, and an awesome appetizer station with fresh roasted oysters. It was seriously amazing! We had planned the appetizers but had no idea all of the other things were happening. We couldn't believe all of the things they had set up for us. We are so appreciative for all of the work they put into it without us even knowing! Our guests loved the scene and all of them want to go back when the visit the Outer Banks! Also, the appetizers were DELICIOUS. Highly recommend this awesome spot for a great time and a stress free experience.
